Understanding the Route Finder

Route Finder is one of the three ways to view your results at the Route Selection step of Quote & Book, reached from the tab at the top right of the screen. Instead of showing every quote at once, it walks you through building a route in three steps — first a lane, then a carrier, then a specific route — narrowing the options at each step. It is a good fit when you already know the shape of the shipment you want (a particular mode, gateway, or carrier) and want to drill straight to it.

Step 1: Choose a Lane

Lanes are grouped by transport mode, shown as tabs with the number of lanes available for each: Air, Air Parcel, Ocean, and Truck. A counter at the top right shows how many routes were returned across all lanes.

Each lane card shows the origin and destination, the number of routes available on that lane, and the lowest price available ("from"). The most competitive lane is flagged with a Lowest Price badge. Select the lane you want to continue.

Step 2: Choose a Carrier

With a lane selected, the carriers serving it are listed in a table alongside their departure options. The Flexible Departure column shows the best price and the number of routes when the ship date is flexible, and the day columns lay out a week of specific departure dates. Use Previous 7 Days and Next 7 Days to move the date range.

Select a carrier and departure slot to see the routes it offers.

Step 3: Choose a Route

The final step lists the individual routes for the lane and carrier you chose. Each route card shows the service name, door service type, its legs, price, transit time, and delivery date — the same route summary used throughout Route Selection.

Select a route to open its View Details panel, or select more than one to compare them side by side. See Understanding Your Route for both. Once you have the route you want, continue through the rest of the Quote & Book flow to make your booking.
