Overview

Customer Groups help you organize operations by geographic or functional divisions. They allow you to assign customers to specific business stations for better operational management.

Follow the steps below if you are interested in managing Customers groups.

The Customer Groups screen is found under Admin > Customer Groups. It displays all existing groups in a table with the following columns:

  • Group Code – A short identifier for the group
  • Name – The full name of the group
  • Email – The primary contact email for the group
  • Reply-To Email – The email address used as the reply-to on outbound communications

Each row also includes two action links: Locations and Manage.

Viewing Locations in a Group

Clicking Locations on any group row opens a modal dialog listing all Customer Locations assigned to that group.

Editing a Customer Group

Clicking Manage on a group row takes you to the Edit page for that group. Here you can update any of the following fields:

  • Code – The short group identifier
  • Name – The display name of the group
  • Email – The group's primary email address
  • Reply-To Email – The reply-to email address for outbound messages

Once your changes are complete, click Submit to save them, or Cancel to discard and return to the list.

Adding a New Customer Group

To create a new group, click the + Add Customer Group button in the top-right corner of the Customer Groups list. This opens the New Customer Group form.

Fill in the following fields:

  • Code – Enter a unique short code for the group
  • Name – Enter the full name of the group
  • Email – Enter the group's primary email address
  • Reply-To Email – Enter the reply-to email address

Click Submit to create the group, or Cancel to return to the list without saving.
