Can I quote by volume or pallet size?

Yes, you can quote shipments by volume or pallet size using the Freightable Items section and the built-in Cube Calculator. 

When creating a quote, start under Freightable Items and enter the details for each item. You can add as many items as needed by clicking Add Item, which is useful when quoting multiple pallets or different types of freight.

For each item, you will enter:

• Commodity description

• Freight Type

• Quantity

• Length, Width, and Height

• Combined Weight

You can switch between Metric and Imperial units using the unit dropdowns for dimensions and weight.

Using the Cube Calculator

For palletized or volume-based shipments, click Cube Calculator. This allows you to quote by volume instead of manually entering dimensions.

In the Cube Calculator, you can:

• Enter the Volume

• Select the Units (e.g., Cubic Meters)

• Choose a Base Size (such as a standard 40" × 48" pallet)

• Optionally enter a Quantity
  

Click Apply to automatically populate the item details based on the volume entered.
