Sign Up Settings

The Sign Up Settings screen is found under Admin > Customer Setup > Sign Up Settings. It allows administrators to create unique sign-up links with preset defaults for new customers, including Customer Group, Sales Rep, Markups, Payment Method, and more. Any user who registers through one of these unique URLs will automatically inherit the settings configured for that link.

The Sign Up Settings List

The list displays all existing sign-up configurations with the following columns:

• Unique URL – The custom link generated for this configuration, Please see  What the User Sees After Accessing a Unique Sign-Up Link
• Customer Group – The Customer Group assigned to users who register via this link
• Sales Rep – The Sales Representative pre-assigned to new registrants
• Payment Method – The default payment method applied to new accounts
• Allow Booking – Whether users registered through this link are allowed to book quotes and incur charges
• Created At – The date the configuration was created
• Actions – A Disable link to deactivate the sign-up link. Clicking this will prompt a confirmation dialog asking "Are you sure?" with a warning that disabling the setting will immediately make it unavailable to customers. Click Yes, Disable to confirm or Cancel to go back.

Filtering the List

You can filter the list by Customer Group and Sales Representative using the dropdowns at the top. Click Apply to filter or Reset to clear the filters.

Adding a New Sign Up Setting

To create a new configuration, click the + Add Sign Up Settings button in the top-right corner. This opens the Add form, which has two sections:

• Unique URL Link – Enter a custom identifier for the sign-up link (at least 3 characters are required before the resulting URL is displayed)
• Customer Group – Select the Customer Group that new registrants will be assigned to
• Sales Representative – Select the Sales Rep to be pre-assigned to new accounts
• Payment Method – Select the default payment method for new accounts
• Allow Booking – Toggle this on to allow users registered through this link to book quotes and incur charges to the location. It is off by default.

Markups

This section allows you to set default markup percentages that will be applied to new customer accounts created through this link, broken down by service type:

• LTL 
• Full Truck 
• Courier
• Insurance
• Air Domestic
• Air Export
• Air Import
• Ocean Domestic
• Ocean LCL Export
• Ocean LCL Import
• Ocean FCL Export
• Ocean FCL Import

All markup fields are entered as a percentage (%). Fields can be left blank if no markup should be applied for a given service type.

Once all settings are configured, click Submit to save the new sign-up configuration.
